Campbell graduated from Auburn in 1984 with a degree in industrial operations management. He is owner and managing partner of Campbell Wealth Management, a comprehensive wealth management firm that specializes in both fee-based investment advisory services and wealth transfer strategies utilizing life insurance. He is also a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP) as designated by The American College of Financial Services. He recently completed a three-year term on the National Financial Partners Corporation Advisory Board.
His civic involvement in Birmingham includes serving as a board member on the Crippled Children’s Foundation as well as the American Sports Medicine Institute. Campbell is a member of Auburn’s 1856 Society and Petrie Society, and he is a life member of the Auburn Alumni Association. During the “It Begins at Auburn” campaign, he co-chaired campaign efforts in the Birmingham region.
A football letterman at Auburn, Campbell played quarterback from 1981-83 and in his final year served as the team’s co-captain. In 1983, he received Auburn’s Cliff Hare Award, the highest honor bestowed by Auburn on a student-athlete. In 2012, he received the Greater Birmingham Auburn Club’s Distinguished Award for a Former Athlete in its inaugural year. He is married to the former Nancy Whittingslow of Marietta, Ga.
