Belluchie graduated from Auburn in 1983 with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. She has more than 20 years experience in operations and management of government contracting companies and is currently the managing member of FedCap Partners, LLC, a private equity fund she started with her husband six years ago. The fund invests in companies focused on the U.S. intelligence community, cyber security, and energy.
Previously, she was the senior vice president and chief marketing officer for Serco-NA (formerly SI International, Inc.), a $1.3 billion division of Serco, Inc. Prior to Serco-NA, she served as a partner in the National Intelligence Agencies division of IBM Federal and president and CEO of the Teradata Government Systems division of NCR Corporation. She also held various operational and business development positions at Computer Sciences Corporation, including vice president of Business Development for the Enforcement Security & Intelligence business unit.
Belluchie serves on the Executive Advisory Board for the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the campaign committee in the Office of the Vice President for Research and Economic Development. She also serves on the Research Advisory Board, Engineering Council, and the Mechanical Engineering Advisory Board. She previously served on the campaign committee for the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering.
She is a member of the 1856 Society, Petrie Society, Engineering Keystone Society, Ginn Society, and James E. Foy Loyalty Society.
She is married to J. Richard Knop.
